1.ZR FILMS Pty Ltd disclaims any responsibility for incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from any defects in the product covered by this warranty. Beyond the limited warranty period mentioned above, ZR FILMS Pty Ltd excludes and disclaims all other express or implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. No contractor, including ZR FILMS installers, is authorized to alter or extend the manufacturer’s limited warranty as outlined in this original agreement.

2.This limited warranty will NOT apply under the following conditions: (a) if the product used is not an authorized ZR FILMS Window Film; (b) if the installation does not comply with the manufacturer’s guidelines and procedures; (c) if more than one film is applied to a window or if the film is partially applied to the glass; (d) if the windows are triple pane, double pane with suspended films, textured, laminated, patterned reflective, or wired glass; (e) if the film is applied to glass with paint, lettering, stickers, or other decorations, or (f) if the film is applied to plastics, acrylics, polycarbonates, or non-glass surfaces.

3. This warranty is valid only within the States and Territories of Australia. If any part of this warranty is found to be unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions will continue to apply and will be interpreted as if the invalid provision was not included in the warranty.

In the event of film failure, contact your installer right away to arrange for the replacement of the defective material. The installer will then submit a claim to ZR FILMS and receive the necessary credit. If you are unable to reach your independent dealer, you can contact support@zrfilms.com.au, and we will help arrange for a qualified warranty replacement. Please ensure you have both your invoice from the installer and a copy of this warranty for us to assist you.

Refrain from cleaning your newly installed window film for at least 30 days. It’s normal to notice visual changes after installation as part of the adhesive bonding process. A hazy or milky appearance, or small water beads, may be visible until the remaining moisture has completely dried. Once the film is fully dry, it will be safe to clean. Depending on the specific product and weather conditions, the drying/curing process may take up to 60 days. When cleaning, avoid using abrasive materials or hard brushes. Instead, use a soft cloth with a mild detergent solution. A squeegee can be used to dry the window.

Do not clean the film for at least 30 days or until it has completely dried out and cured After installation, you may notice a hazy/milky appearance when you look through the film. Water pockets may develop as the film cures and this is to be expected. It is caused by the barrier nature of the film. Complete dry-out should occur within 30-60 days depending on the amount of remaining installation solution, humidity, sunlight, and heat directed upon the window.
